Well constructed but It may have been the other end that would not hold the came in place reliably. Intermittent connections and I switched to a slower but more reliable USB connection. No other viable options. Long enoug and reasonably flexible. May not have been the cable’s fault. YMMV

I got this along with a Esata card and I didn’t use either one because I brought a new computer.

This cable is plenty of length and would recommend that you dont go over 6ft. I ran into problems with my external hard drive no detecting the cable thats all trying to get it fixed through Seagates company. BTW Seagate 1TB/USB.20/400firewire model.

I like this eSATA cable. Much cheaper than Best Buy. I would not step into best buy for these kind of things. Just a rip off there.
I dont know it is my PC but I dont get the promised speeds of 400mb/sec. I have HP HDX18 Vista ultimate, 4GB DDR3, Quad processor, but still does not give me more than 30mb/sec. Any thoughts here are certainly helpful.
